This tab is based on an afternoon trying to figure out if there was a way
to create an arragement of this tune for an acoustic guitar.


UPDATE:  I've now seen the acoustic video on the foo fighters site.


- Dave plays what's tabbed below (the open chords in parts 3 & 4).
- The into D? chord is slightly different (see below).
- The main riff is done on a piano.

Dave is hammering on and off on the e & g strings in a dmaj pattern.


The opening strum pattern is repeated 3 times.

On the actual CD I hear octives played.  However for an acoustic reproduction playing
full power chords may make more sense.  You could also play open chords where possible.
